    The P means Period and is part of ISO8601.

    The format looks like PnYnMnDTnHnMnS (no milliseconds), so concretely P3Y6M4DT12H30M5S.

    The P is required to designate a period, the T only shows up if you have any Hours, Minutes or Seconds defined.
