Could you elaborate on why Thinkpads that came after the 480 are no good? I’m looking to get a laptop and am probably getting a thinkpad. Is it the easily removable battery?

It is very cool! I paid for a gold membership a few months back after using it on & off for years. So far I think it was worth it.
It did take a bit of configuring to get it working with xscreensaver tho.
