Maybe I should’ve just shut up and thought for a bit longer before writing that comment…
If you want to talk to me elsewhere, you know how to reach me.

They are usually no-name brand swag items
Edit: And your picture is USB 2.0
Probably because of this?
Distribute third-party app stores as apps, so users can switch app stores by downloading a new one from Google Play, in just the same way as they’d install any app; Allow apps to use any payment processor,
Isnt that what the InternetArchive did, disabled controlled lending during covid and got sued?
And you are aware that bitwarden knows nothing about the passwords inside the vault and the vault is encrypted in zero knowledge type of fashion?
AND that Bitwarden does external audits?
AND if you loose your master password you are out of luck as they can’t support you helping crack the decryption?
Or Bitwarden (supposedly)
Actual zero knowledge encrypted password managers with 2FA?
Other sides
Linux is built as a tool by the people using the tool.
And that’s exactly how it feels to non-programmers or not-enthusiasts jus trying to exist.
And those devs (not all but more or less most) will troubleshoot and gear it towards how they see fit with less newbie testing.
But but muh Linux is better.
Though to be fair, Linux has had some great developments!
Sounds and reads as a solid product idea.
For the switch to 240W USB-C it may become obsolote but at least you will know they are 100W and 10gbit capable?
Tyvm :)
Hope you got a good rest!
Edit: Just tried it out on quora. Awesome!
Maybe enough forum boards were scraped where women were discussing this happening that it became a significant data point?
Maybe the next step to actually life these fantasies are so close they still become a problem because the hand isnt satisfying enough to use?
First Apple then Google. On Android you can at least side-load properly
Follow-up?
Huh…Can’t replicate that claim (though I would believe it happening)
On the 20th Sep. I asked my Google Home if it would be raining.
It responded that it would rain. I asked when it would rain.
Home responded with “Today it won’t rain.”
Like what? 5 seconds ago you said it would. No weather report reports rain. Where did you get the first response from??
And I could even replicate it (have it on video)
The moment I heard about the option was the moment I literally searched on how to enable/install this single KB-Update just so I can use it :P
Regarding the battery: That would be like leaving the desktop on at all times and just doing something else. This could be appropriate for an e-ink display. Maybe a PC should embed what form-factor it is in the bios like android phones do (e.g. phone, tablet, phablet) and the display report what type of panel it is (e.g. e-ink, TN, IPS, VA, QLED/OLED hybrid).
You can actually see those specs with AIDA64 on a phone. Very neat
I do that with the Firefox plugin “Block or Highlight Search Engine Results” from pistom (on github).
Upside: I can see what was hidden in case I need that and it really helps with visibility.
