Wow that seems way easier and feature richier than the other service I was looking into. Definitely gonna try that one! Thanks

Same here. Lidarr had trouble finding most of the stuff I was looking for. I wish I had some kind of automation like the are stack for slskd. Maybe I try soularr that promises that, whenever I feel like exploring this part of the sea.

This seems awesome! Thanks for sharing

Cool, thanks!

Yeah I wish I had an Android TV app to play my navidrome music library

Do we have cars made of ice?! Cool

Mine is looking at the blocked domains in pihole and watching my TV trying to call home desperately without success.

I don’t think my tcl TV has it hardcoded because my pihole is always blocking tcl domains

What you mean by black hole and filter? I blocked a bunch of tcl domains on my pihole and made my router drop everything in port 53 coming from every other device that wasn’t pihole. It seems to have worked for now… Is that a good solution?

The battery life and the cost to replace it is the one million dollars question nobody can answer (yet?) …I assume that this is why byd cars are cheap giving the amount of technology they ship in the cars…once we have the risk of having to pay loads of money to replace a battery gone or the actual cost to do it, we should see the prices normalized (without the risk discount)

Is that true? I didn’t know that! Here in my country BYD seems to be selling really well. I see them all the time while driving.
Just a noob question about your setup: do you have a TLD domain name? Are you behind NAT? just because I wanna set a chat server like matrix or xmpp but I’ve been stuck in how to make it available on the web with these restrictions like no domain, no fixed IP and.behind NAT

Cool! Can I use a ddns like duckdns? I only use my server through a VPN so I haven’t looked into hardening and security stuff to open it to the internet yet. Maybe I’ll just try setting a matrix server soon. Thanks!

I’d like to set up a matrix server on my home server (or a xmpp server) but I haven’t been able to figure how to do that. All the docs talk about setting up a vps with a domain name.I don’t have a vps or a domain name and don’t wanna have to pay monthly to a hobby. (I’m poor in a poor country)

Are you on a tablet or phone?
I’d go with Debian but it’s just a personal preference. I had some difficult to set up a samba server the other day in one of my laptops that was running fedora because of firewall configs that I don’t use in Debian like adding context or something. Besides that, I kinda think dnf is better than apt in some ways but still use Debian on my home server. I just works
