I’m a Christian. The Gospels are very clear about monogamy and that women are to be cherished and treated with respect. I respect women and recognize they are preyed upon constantly by our over-sexualized culture into dressing more provocatively, chasing impossible lifestyles and possibly having an onlyfans or whatever.

And religion has arguably done more harm to women than porn ever has or will, so if porn is evil, religion must be too.

Even if there was a way to quantify that claim (there’s not) and I argued from some tradition like Islam (which I don’t) you don’t even have a moral framework to argue from so your critique is meaningless. You don’t know what is harmful and what isnt. This proven by your next “points”.

“Healthy”. Yeah that sounds real healthy. They are so healthy they have to resort to watching other people having sex when they should be spending time together making or raising kids. Who knows the conditions of the poor souls they are watching.

It’s terrible for your brain chemistry, personal relationships, emotional health, vitality and spiritual state. It exploits women and severely damages the way men see women. Human sexuality gets hijacked and instead of having a loving relationship people are stuck in private viewing shameful images and pleasuring themselves for years not understanding that they are literally wasting their life and potential. People get addicted to the instant release of porn which harms personal relationships and longer-form activities that take continual effort and nuance and bring a higher order of pleasure and happiness. It’s probably good that porn frequently distracts people from having kids because undoubtedly the child would eventually be exposed to it purposefully or not by the parent at some point. So even if I accept your premise – porn is evil.

EndeavourOS is the best imo because it’s basically arch with a minimal skin on it to aide in installation etc

I’ve been using it for the better part of 5 years now with no issues. I play games, self host, work etc It’s great.

If you install paru you get access to the AUR which has everything under the sun ready to install.

Arch is plenty stable

I have some ancient desktop that accesses media on my NAS. I run Plex on the same PC no problem. Stopped running Jellyfin because of the above-mentioned issues.

Jellyfin always irrecoverably crashes for me over time. It also suffers from permissions issues where videos won’t play sometimes due to a a transcode folder being full or something like that.

I want to use it but it always breaks.

Most people dont need more than a ford maverick which isnt even a truck. However as a hybrid vehicle it is pretty good value even if the longevity is yet to be determined.

Electic motors are unmatched for torque and response time. No debate there but if you need to tow a big ass camper your range is going to suck if you dont have some hybrid config.

If that’s the case that’s great. Not familiar with turbo diesels. I know that the turbo failure rate is non-trivial for regular gas vehicles and the repairs can be expensive.

You hit the nail on the head. If it can’t tow it’s pretty useless as a truck. If someone doesnt tow they probably dont need a truck in the first place otherwise they are better off with a gas model. The unfortunate thing is that regulations have forced manufacturers to implement shitty ICE drivetrains. Everything is a turbo now which is “more efficient” but there is no way they will last as long as the naturally aspirated V6 or V8s that would go for 400-500k miles.

EV trucks will never make sense. Hybrids can but I have yet to see anything I would buy.
