I’m somewhere between 2 and 3 also. I rarely bring Linux up unless the topic is operating systems or I’m directly asked about it. Then I’ll talk your ears off.
Tumbleweed doesn’t offer a torrent because there’s a new iso nearly every day.

Yeah but more people run a release on a wider range of hardware do the alphas and betas. While your right about the impression it makes, it really boils down to how quickly things are fixed.

I was trying Linux because I was curious (back then it was Mandrake) and I realised I hadn’t booted Windows for 6 months so I reinstalled Linux giving it all of my hard drive and never looked back.

True, but not things you will use day to day. With such a little machine, I would go with EndeavourOS with i3 or sway and build it up from there.
The only disadvantage is that you have to manually update, unless you’ve installed it from the aur.

That’s one of them, another is EndeavourOS which is my distro of choice.
