Count me among those lost customers. I had them for years but they are an absolute nightmare so last year I finally gave up and just cancelled my internet outright. Unfortunately fiber isn’t an option where I live. I’m looking at wireless right now, but atm I don’t have internet. Not having internet is preferable to dealing with Comcast’s bullshit tho.

I’m using docker. Tried to set up Jellyfin in one but I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to get it to work, even following the official documentation. Ended up just running the jellyfin package from my distros repo, which worked fine for me. Also tried running a tor snowflake, which worked, but there was some issue with the NAS being restricted and I couldn’t figure out how to fix that. I kinda gave up at that point and saved the whole container thing to figure out another day. I only switched to Linux and started self-hosting last year, so I’m still pretty new to all of this.

I still haven’t figured out containers. 🙁

You don’t need to be tech literate to follow the news. Meta has been caught in lie after lie for YEARS and it has all been widely reported on. Meta needs to face actual repercussions for their crimes against humanity, but anybody still buying into their bullshit is being willfully ignorant.
