The hyprland issues I’m aware of, but what’s the issue with suckless?

I already use Navidrome, but I discovered Explo through your post, so thanks! It seems to work well in that it brings in the tracks that it should, but I don’t think I can keep using it because it pollutes my ‘Recently Added’ list in Navidrome with 50 new albums, each with a single track. If I could somehow prevent that, I think I’d keep using it. I tried using an .ndignore file but that didn’t work - it stops them showing up in Recents, but also prevents the tracks from working in the playlist that Explo generates.

Or Navidrome if you only want to stream music. It also supports dynamic playlists, internet radio, and scrobbling.

As someone who’s never used Pocket but recently got a Kobo and saw there’s an integration, I was a little annoyed they were shutting it down. I wonder if Kobo will create their own service to fill the gap? Given how hackable the device is, I’m sure the community will if they don’t.

Rather than a text file, using a command snippet manager like pet might be more convenient.

From what I’ve seen, there’s no real performance difference with a gaming distro. What they tend to offer is an out of box experience that is more tailored towards gaming than a regular distro (think ‘game mode’, Steam, Proton, and maybe Lutris pre-installed, Nvidia drivers if you need them).

I’m running Pop! OS on a Surface Pro 5 and it works pretty much flawlessly with the Linux Surface kernel installed. That said, 99% of the time I’m using it with the keyboard attached so I haven’t done much testing of it in ‘tablet mode’, nor with a stylus.

Aside from the VPS and object storage for housing Leminal Space, just Proton Mail. And The Anfield Wrap if we’re counting podcasts.

Move to an instance that won’t.
