10·6 months agoAnything that wasn’t installed by default or wasn’t a dependancy. So Nvidia drivers he downloaded from the website, Discord, Spotify, Chrome.
Some of them had .RPM files so that helped

27·6 months agoUse the package manager! I have a friend that is an amazing programmer he knows computer software well. But he said Linux is a hassle to use because of updates. I was confused then I found out he would download the .tar.gz and install software manually.
Just get used to using the package manager instead of downloading from the websites like on windows. It takes a minute to get used to but life will be much easier.

I saw someone mention using Android TV in another thread and I think that’s genius. It’s perfect for using a controller and I wanna try it
I’d love to read it but Tumblr is fucking ass.
This pop up won’t go away. I’m still gonna donate but fucking christ stop using Tumblr
Edit: the “no thanks” isn’t making it go away, I guess it’s broke or I got fat thumbs.

How the hell can they even afford that?! There are so many Gmail users and so many emails a second and Gemini will summarize them all? That sounds so expensive and like a waste of resources

How complicated is a federated messenger? Because it feels like matrix is the only one but there’s always an issue
