EPIC, Democracy Forward, and a federal worker filed suit today against the so-called “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE) over its illegal seizure of personnel records and payment system data—actions which constitute the largest data breach in American history. Our suit aims to shut down unlawful access to agency data systems and restore the privacy and security safeguards that the Elon Musk-run DOGE has blatantly violated.
And it won’t matter. They just won’t comply, it’s right in their goofy project 2025. They’ll have to be imprisoned or killed, they won’t allow for anything less.
I don’t think they want to see a world where people are finally proven that the only justice left for them is vigilante.
I didn’t say anything about vigilantes though. I’m talking about the courts. If they don’t find their balls soon the magats will be too entrenched. It’s not too late yet but the clock is ticking.
It’s actually up to Congress, the courts have spoken and trump is signaling he’s going to ignore them.
Musk is absolutely the purview of the court system though.
And he doesn’t have a secret service detail, afaik. Just average, paid bodyguards who can also be arrested for obstruction of justice.
But it remains to be seen if any judges will be brave enough to dare to stand up to fascism. Merchan wasn’t, and Trump was literally at his mercy as a private citizen.
Depends on who the vigilantes are. The war is not the people vs. gov, it’s red vs. blue. If the blue team gets vigilantes, the red team brings a whole lot more of them, armed to the teeth, with a penchant for violence, and full knowledge that there will be no repercussions for them.
Just because they tricked half the population into becoming collaborators doesn’t mean it’s not the owning class versus the common people.
Don’t get me wrong, there will be fights along political lines, they will be used as cannon fodder but just like any war the opposing soldier is not your enemy, those that guide the actions of those solders are. Propaganda will do one heck of job making sure gullible people believe they have no choice.
Racism is form of cancer but it has been demonstrated many times that on a individual level it can be cured.
